Bhutan Blockchain Skills Bootcamp 2026

GovTech Agency is building its blockchain future in Bhutan. We are launching the Blockchain Skills Bootcamp, a 4-week intensive program designed for developers, government professionals, and students across the country. The program includes: 3 weeks of structured online learning 1 week of onsite training in Thimphu A final hackathon focused on real-world problem statements Mentorship from experts within the Ethereum ecosystem This bootcamp aims to build practical skills in blockchain development while encouraging participants to work on solutions relevant to Bhutan’s digital and governance landscape. AI Studio Dabtong House × Pelsung

AI Studio is a closed and selective gathering for people who build with AI, serving as the inaugural meeting for a small community of builders forming in Bhutan. Hosted by Dabtong House and Pelsung, the event aims to connect developers and coders with hands-on experience in AI development, who actively write code and build software, ML, tools, or automations. The half-day event in Thimphu includes a keynote by Joi Ito, real AI workflow demonstrations, and an open-themed hackathon. The agenda is as follows: 2:00 PM Welcome & opening, 2:10 PM Keynote by Joi Ito, 2:30 PM AI workflow demos, 3:30 PM Break, 3:45 PM Hackathon, 5:45 PM Wrap-up & group photo, followed by a group dinner offsite at 6:30 PM. Participants will have access to AI tools, opportunities to meet other strong builders, and a chance to present their own AI projects (selected presenters receive 3 months of Claude for free). This event is the starting point for a continuous community of AI builders in Bhutan. Registration for this event is closed.
